Signs Of A Bad Relationship: Not Paying More Attention To Your Woman

Signs of a Bad Relationship

That old song "A Woman Needs Love Just like You Do" is so true. If you are failing to show your lady love and you are not treating her right. Guess what? Somebody else just might do that for you. The signs of a bad relationship are always present, but many people fail to see the signs.

I have a friend of mine that came to me one day asking for my advice about what he should do to get back with his ex. He could not understand why she left him to be with another man. They were not married and they did not live together, but they were always with each other at first. Then he got a new job and he would spend so much time at work and when they were together he was always tried and did not want to do anything with her. He would work very long days and many times he would go into work on the weekends.

He was trying to make a good impression at his new job, but at the same time he was neglecting his lady. At first she understood why he put in so many hours at work, but this got old and she is young and full of energy. They stop talking with each other about their lives and they would only talk about him and his job. I never understood why people do not get the one basic concept of a relationship which is good communication.

Communication is such an important factor in all relationships. Why do people fail to communicate with each other? Communication is a two-way interaction that occurs, both verbally and non-verbally between two or more people. The key component of the definition of communication is "interaction".

If you are not interacting with your partner on a regular basis, then guess what someone else will. My friend failed to understand this concept and as a result he lost his lady to someone who did understand. I am not saying what she did is right, but she needed someone that put her first. A relationship is hard work and it takes time and effort to make a relationship last.

Communication with words is something we all do on a daily basis. But, just like when you're asked to give an impromptu speech, being asked to communicate in a particular situation just makes many of you cringe, lock up, and find yourself at a loss for words. Why? Mainly because when you have to think about what to say, you suddenly become concerned about what you're saying. But if you just let it happen without any expectations, somehow everything works out a whole lot better.

That being said, think of your past relationships and where communication failed you. Was it something you said in a particular conversation that you came to regret later? Or was it something she said that you either treated as unimportant or simply didn't hear at all? Or could it have been a time when you should have said something to her, but didn't, and the results were equally regrettable? Surely all of these have happened to nearly everyone at one time or another. The trick is to not let these past failures define how you communicate now and in the future of your current relationship.

Although it is important to communicate with your family, particularly your partner, on a daily basis in person, in person contact isn't always permitted. With busy schedules, different work hours, or overtime, it may seem as if you never get the opportunity to spend quality time with your spouse or your romantic partner. If that is the case, you may feel that regular communication is just hopeless. While it may seem that way, it doesn't have to be. If you are able to communicate with your partner through hand written notes, emails, or cell phone calls, it is advised that you do so, especially if you have an important message that needs to be passed on to them.

Talking is something we all think about when we hear the word 'communication'. But, unfortunately, that first thought is the wrong one if you're looking for a good relationship with potential for romance. Talking will get you nowhere, and worse, it may cause things to fall backward or even to fall apart. When you talk, you're expecting someone else to listen.

But what about the listener? When does she get the chance to be heard? That's why my friend had problems with his lady because he did not understand that it's so much better to change your view from one of simply talking, to one where you see communication as the carrying on of a conversation. These were just a few of the signs of a bad relationship, but there are so many more.
