Would this Atheist and Christian relationship work out?
So I like a christian girl and am planing on asking her out in a few weeks but I don't know how well this would work out in terms of our beliefs, she seems to be a very die hard christian (we have never talked about religion before) because on her facebook page she has 2 updates that a religious (that I can remember there's really like 4) 1. is something like a quote from jesus about if you reject him in front of your peers he'll reject you in front of his father, 2. is something like every time you pick up a bible the devil faints and every time you read from it he dies a little on the inside. Me on the other hand I'm somewhat very anti-relgious, I don't like religion shoved in my face, in places it doesn't belong, and if you lack the ability to defend you faith from comments then you deserve to be rediculed. To top this all off while I'm not very sure I think she mentioned her father is a pastor at a local church (a 3 min walk from my house). I don't know if she knows I'm an atheist or not yet but what do you think.

Question about Christian relationships...?
I've been wondering... is it possible... for a christian to be married to an athiest.. I Know that's possible^ but.... what if the Christian believes that athiests go to hell? Isn't that a huge fear in the relationship?... I'm curious as to how that works out... I'm not saying its a bad thing if anything its a bit sweet they can go past what they believe for eachother.. But... personally id have anxiety with a thought like that in my head...? And no I'm not saying all Christians believe athiests go to hell. Just saying IF.

Giving my pain and heartache to God?
I dated this woman for 9 months, I am 22 and she is 20. Right after we broke up we were best friends for a month and I found some scripture that said that it isn't healthy to have a secret love. So I pursued her and got shot down. We are pretty much done, for now I pray but we will see, although she keeps sending signs to me and our friends that she isn't over me. I reach out to God and search for his answers of how to handle this and I receive from him to just wait it out and I need him to be in control of my emotions even when I so badly want to start over. Also that in order for this to work out, I need to be her friend again in time, show in my actions that I am worthy and a good mate My problem is letting my emotions run wild in this. I am a complex thinker and that has been proven to be an issue of mine. She can't date anyone else because of a church program she is enrolled in until June and I really just need to press into the lord and gain knowledge of his word. She has,for some reason, become hostile or very impersonal to me, Even when its a simple hello she directs towards me its like she doesn't want to but feels she needs too, but she passively flirts with me when no one in our life group is around. I feel that in prayer it is ok to still be in love with her, I just need to have self-control and exercise patiences Does anyone have any scripture or insight from past experiences to help me out She broke up with me out of the clear blue saying that God told her too and it's quite obvious that its because of outside influences that has made her do this. We had a working in progress Christian relationship. When we were friends right after the break up she warned me that she was going to act differently around her discipler and mother. Thanks in advance If she played the "God Card" then why was it when we broke up she was talking about us getting together again? She didn't have to lie she could've never called me again or answered my calls too. I just feel that there is alot of confusion that is causing even more confusion My best friend is in Iraq
